What is the difference between the Verdi Basic and Verdi Twin?
The Verdi Basic model is equipped with one cutting disc for rigid materials, while the Verdi Twin model has two cutting systems: the disc for rigid materials and a pneumatic cutter for semi-rigid materials.
Do the Verdi Basic and Verdi Twin require compressed air to operate?
The Verdi Basic model does not require compressed air to operate, but if the pneumatic clamp accessory is added to clamp the material, then compressed air is required. The Verdi Twin does require compressed air for both the pneumatic presser and the pneumatic cutter cutting head.
What is the recommended compressed air pressure?
A pressure of 6 to 7 bar is required for proper operation.
Do the Verdi Basic and Verdi Twin models need electricity to operate?
Yes, both models need electricity, 220 V - 50 Hz / 110 V - 60 Hz, to operate the cut-off wheel.
Where can the Verdi Basic or Verdi Twin be installed?
Both models must be installed against a wall. It is recommended to fix the machine to the wall and floor for safety. Neither model can be installed on a stand.
What height do I need to install the machine in an upright position?
You should bear in mind that each machine needs more space than it actually takes up for its cutting capacity. The necessary dimensions of each machine are indicated in the technical information.
Is the hoover dispensable on the Verdi Basic or Verdi Twin models?
Although it is not necessary, the hoover is recommended, as it helps to absorb more than 90% of the chips produced.
Is it necessary to change the cut-off wheel depending on the material to be cut?
The Verdi is equipped with a universal cut-off wheel which is useful for cutting all types of materials with high quality. However, if you are looking for higher quality or to extend the life of the blade, we have specific cut-off wheels for aluminium, wood and plastic.
The cut-off wheel on my Verdi Basic or Verdi Twin machine has been used for a long time and it is not cutting as well as it started out, what can I do?
You should re-sharpen the blade to bring it back to its original performance. If you do not have a sharpening service in your area, we can offer you our sharpening service.
Can the Verdi cut Chromaluxe?
Both the Verdi Basic and Verdi Twin models are capable of cutting Chromaluxe with excellent results. To achieve this performance, we make special modifications compared to the standard machine. When purchasing, it is important to indicate that you need the machine to cut this material.
What maintenance do I need to do on the machines?
You only need to apply lubricant spray once a year on the sliding guides.
How do I know which accessories are included and which are not included in the machine I want to buy?
